Sandblasting Workshop 玻璃噴砂工作坊

Sandblasting is the process of blasting abrasive particles against glass surface with high pressure to change the texture of the surface. In this workshop, you can make your own design and use our sandblasting machine yourself on the glasses provided. You may also bring a glass yourself.

Make your own drinking glasses (4 pieces max. provided and to be sandblasted) with sandblasting technique. You will be instructed how to use the sandblasting machine and sandblast your glasses.

噴砂利用細小的研磨砂材顆粒對素材表面衝擊, 讓表面產生像顆粒化般的凹陷使之形成霧面，改變素材表面的光潔度。課堂內學員將設計及製作自己的圖案, 及親自使用專業噴砂機, 把圖案刻在玻璃杯上.

Visiting artist:
This workshop is designed by Mr. Oscar van der Linden who is originally Dutch and he is a Graphic Designer and Glass Artist, who owned a design studio for 10 years and has over 18 years of teaching experience.
