語言，能夠表達個人的真情實感，亦可以開拓一個人、一群人、一代人，以至一整個民族的思想。視覺和表演藝術，以點、線、面、體、顏色、質感、聲音、燈光等非文字的表達作為溝通媒介。相對於片言隻字，它們可能更為誠實赤裸，更能衝破時空界限。藝術的力量，在於既能發揮語言的優勢，同時亦能突破語言文字的局限。今屆JCCAC藝術節2016，以[語Dialogue]為題，逾50位本土藝術家將以文字及文字以外的表達形式——藝術媒介（包括雕塑、繪畫、戲劇等），作為思想與情感的載體；並透過展覽和藝作坊等與公眾直接對話，交換視野和心靈，娓娓道來說不盡的故事和創意。

Language can express the true feelings of an individual, a group of people, a generation and even an entire nation. Visual and performing arts use non-verbal expression as their media for communication, which may be more truthful and powerful than words in breaking the boundaries of time and space.
