新一代，大概會令人想起充滿幹勁、有理想、敢創新又肯承擔的一群。縱然一代和一代之間的想法可能有所不同，但當中總會有共通之處，叫彼此能放下己見，將一些重要的價值和訊息承傳下去，並將社會上不同的人團結起來。

今年JCCAC藝術節2014主題是「新一代」，一方面是呼應今屆藝術節，本中心首次和駐中心藝團合作的主題展覽「新一代！國際大學生交流展」，另一方面希望透過藝術節這個平台，讓駐中心藝術家／藝團以不同的藝術形式表達他們對「新一代」的聯想。

Mention "the new generation", what comes to your mind? Probably the motivation, ambition, innovation and commitment young people. Despite inevitable differences in point of views between the young and older generations, there will always be shared interests from a wider perspective which makes people put aside their personal agenda to achieve altruistic goals, bridging the gap between different people and generations in the society through their common values.
