Yung Chung Kong, graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT), co-presented with Hong Kong Art School, focusing on the medium of oil paintings. Yung's paintings often illustrated a combination of the urban landscape and wilderness. With colors drawn from the light of dawn and dusk, match with the use of densely packed yet delicate brush strokes to depict the stage of solitary. Fragments of symbolic objects such as stars, twinkling lights, walls, withered grasses appear throughout his paintings, presenting a scene of emptiness, as if nothing has ever happened.
